The room was very nice, large comfy bed and very clean. The staff are friendly and the service was very good. I recommend this as somewhere to stay if you visit Hexham.

The owners were friendly and their hospitality was fantastic. The breakfast options were lovely as you had the choice of many breakfast options including a full English, eggs Benedict, vegetarian or baps (which were great as we had an early start so could take them away). Plus coffees juices etc. The inn is a historic building and we loved the atmosphere and feel, it felt very homely. Acomb is a beautiful little town and we enjoyed walking the surrounding streets admiring the historic buildings. Very close to the AD122 bus route for exploring Hadrians wall. A £7 taxi ride from the Hexham train station.

What a lovely place to stay when visiting Hadrian's Wall! We had a beautiful view overlooking the river and bridge. The room was large and comfortable. Brian, the owner, was very kind and generous with his time and allowed us to use the laundry facilities knowing that we'd been traveling for weeks. He's a fun and interesting conversationalist as well! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely friendly staff, even offered to pick us up from the wedding venue. The most gorgeous tasty breakfast. Tomatoes on the vine were lovely. Lovely comfy beds.
