The location was great as the occasion was a 60th wedding anniversary afternoon tea at a near by village hall, plus the weather was on our side too, the hotel was lovely, clean and cosy, felt like home.

Very friendly staff. We had lunch and then stayed a night. Good food and beer. The rooms we used were delightful, very comfortable with spacious bathrooms. It was live music night the evening we were there which was an added bonus , with a great band.

Glenda & Lee are so welcoming and friendly. They are great hosts The room had everything we needed and more. Glenda has thought of everything in advance. Room was clean comfortable and homely. Such attention to detail. The breakfast was beyond first class , home cured bacon, fresh eggs, home made bread & jams. Thank you both for making our stay memorable, shame it was too short. The Restaurant serves Indian Cuisine as well, which was really good. Breakfast was good as well. The rooms are very nice and we enjoyed it a lot. The bed was wonderful, best one so far during my vacation in UK. The mattress was just right, Not too hard and not too soft!

    Location was good for us, quiet, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Our twin beaded room was very clean and comfortable, en-suite shower cubicle is a good size. Breakfast was excellent, good choice of cereals, fresh fruit and full English breakfast. The homemade cake was a lovely touch to have with a cup of tea when we returned each day from our travels!

    An excellent breakfast, made to order and prepared with care and attention to the customers specific needs. Nothing was too much trouble! The room was exceptional, very comfortable and well appointed. Excellent view of the well kept garden, with a private and exclusive use of a patio area outside the room if required. In a quiet location within easy walking distance of the town through a delightful park. This is a gem of a property with very caring and attentive staff! Full marks for for the whole team!
