B&Bs in Lowestoft

We were due to check in around 9 pm for a wedding the next day. Unfortunately our flight was delayed by five hours which meant a 2 am arrival. I would have kept Derek in the loop about this, but it was far from ideal for our hosts considering that they would have to be awake again in the morning to cook breakfast. We were also after a two hour taxi from Stansted so were exhausted landing. Derek was so kind letting us in, and bringing us to our room, and allowing us hit the hay and not having to worry about breakfast until the morning. The place is itself is very well situated. It is absolutely spotless, I mean spotless, and the room and bed were lovely and comfortable. We had a very good sleep and had excellent bathroom facilities in the morning. We had breakfast early enough. Breakfast was very good, a very high standard, and we got to meet Derek again who is a lovely kind and sound man. Derek kindly advised us on getting a taxi home, and gave us a taxi number. We arrived in fairly late after the wedding and ate breakfast again in the morning and this time it was both Mark and Derek serving a very high standard of breakfast in their lovely home. The price we paid was very, very reasonable. It was off-season, but still it was very reasonable for the standard of accommodation and breakfast. Derek was kind again on check-out, and allowed us keep our bags in the B&B until our taxi came. The B&B was a very pleasant surprise. We tend to stay in hotels rather than B&Bs in Ireland, but this was a very high standard of B&B that we could recommend to anyone.

Location was brilliant for us, family member in hospital, which took us 10mins in car, lowestoft was so near, bout 10mins in car again, so near for everything, highly recommend.

This place is beautiful. Every area indoor and outdoor is so cozy, welcoming and comfortable. I loved my room and amenities. Spacious, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well equipped. It felt like a home away from home. I loved everything about this place. And the outdoor area is so wonderful and cute which I used a lot to enjoy with a book, drink or just to relax. Liz and her staff are amazing, so friendly, helpful and enjoyable to be around.

Everything was exceptional! The room had everything you could want (and more!) for a short stay, spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the beach. The breakfast was lovely, and you have a great number of options to choose from. But above all else the value for money is second to none. Martin is a wonderful host, and I look forward to staying here again in the future!
