Great location for Gatwick Airport An hour leisurely drive through lovely countryside on uncrowded roads. Easy to find and loads of parking The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the food was good with attentive staff.

Quirky and in a carriage, unique experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was good. Mobile signal on O2 and Vodafone working even at 4G! and much much better than reviews suggest.

We loved being treated as special guests and supporting a new family business and this really made our weekend away. We stayed in Uncle Ned’s: spacious, clean and charming rooms, comfortable bed, large wardrobe, dressing table, powerful shower over bath. We loved our steak dinners and English cooked breakfasts cooked by a chef so high quality and delicious. 5 minute walk to town centre and Petworth House. Free parking on request

This is an exceptional hotel in a quiet country village location. Everything about it is class. We felt welcomed and at home from the moment we walked in. Our room and the hotel’s attention to detail was faultless. The staff were excellent and attentive. Our dinner was top notch. Every place we stay in from now on will be measured against the White Horse.

I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Petworth or the surrounding area. The couple who run it were incredibly hospitable and made me feel like an old friend. The room itself was spacious and lovely, making for a fantastic stay away from home.

We stayed at the Labouring Man as we were attending a wedding nearby. The facilities were great and our room was very clean and comfortable. I accidentally left a bookmark behind that my daughter had made for me and the staff located it and posted it back to me, for which I was very grateful.
