Gorgeous little cottage in a peaceful environment. Spotlessly clean, and full of delightful surprises. The breakfast is ready in the kitchen, which was a wonderful solution, when had to leave at early hours to catch plane. 20 minutes from Stansted airport, it was a very convenient location.

Loved it, lovely room, lovely staff, great food. All good We stayed in the rooms opposite the main pub, wifi a little patchy but then would go back on again, nothing concerning and did not get in the way of anything. Food was so good. Had eton mess for pudding and it was so well made and presented. Had a burger and a fish stew (stayed 2 nights) and both tasted amazing, as well as the breakfast. My cereal this morning isn't hitting the mark at home!

The staff at this property are very friendly and made a great impression on us. Our room was very nice and we appreciate the staff making sure we were comfortable. I can't stress enough how helpful they were. Our bed and room was very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was nothing fancy, but still quite nice.

The host was friendly and made himself available for our late arrival. We also had to leave fairly early, and he cooked us a great breakfast, as well. He even let us charge our EV, which was an amazing fringe benefit and saved us time before our flight! The eggs from the chickens on site were also a special treat!
