The hotel was perfect for our stay. The food was to a very high standard. The beds were really comfortable and amenities in the rooms offered everything you could need. The best part of the stay for us was the staff, especially Yasmin who from the moment we arrived could not have done more to make our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. As a family of 4 (with a 4 year old granddaughter) we would highly recommend this hotel.

The setting is idyllic. Our room was incredibly comfy after a half day hiking - loved the deep bath and good quality bedding. Dinner was very tasty, great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. The Red Cow pulls off being both a real pub in the community and pretty upmarket place to stay.

Well, this was the first time that I'd ever slept in a four-poster bed! It was amazing :D The room was decorated with nice furniture that matched the decor. The bathroom was amazing - I even treated myself to running a bath! The staff were lovely. I had time to sit and chat with one member of staff after dinner, having visited a local restaurant that he recommended. Breakfast was yummy and the staff were helpful and friendly. Would totally stay here again, especially as it's such a convenient location near Stansted Airport.

The host was friendly and made himself available for our late arrival. We also had to leave fairly early, and he cooked us a great breakfast, as well. He even let us charge our EV, which was an amazing fringe benefit and saved us time before our flight! The eggs from the chickens on site were also a special treat!

The rooms are finished to a very high standard with excellent natural light. It was clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The views are stunning and the facilities (including the Jacuzzi bathrooms) are second to none. Our friendly hosts took care to make our stay a first class trip which it was. We had fresh towels on both days and the beds were made up in time for our return in the evening. A continental breakfast was supplied and refreshed each day. We would definitely recommend staying at Spring Paddocks and we are more than happy to stay again in the future.
