I had a great stay here! The room was super clean, comfy and even bigger than expected. The guesthouse is really close to the city centre and just a short walk from the beach :) Olga is an absolute angel, thanks for being so lovely and helping me with my massive bagpack! Utterly blown away by the attention to detail and lengths gone within the rooms to dater for guests every need. Refreshing to see no expense spared for the sake of comfort. Such an overwhelmingly positive and friendly experience that should I ever return to Torquay then there'd no doubt as to where I'd stay. Bravo from a former hotelier.

We liked everything about Marmalade. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed, the room was very high standard. Suzy and Paul's attention to detail really showed and made our stay unforgettable. They are v warm and friendly people and extremely knowledgeable about the area. We'd definitely stay here again.

Everything! Joe and Steve were so friendly and welcoming, my room was beautiful and spacious for a single room. Very clean, bright and comfortable, the little touches included were a very welcome surprise (homemade fudge and cakes) and bucks fizz in the fridge!). The breakfast was absolutely lovely, and plenty of choice. Not far from the seafront. And an added bonus of a cat, which for me was perfect! Lovely stay, would absolutely stay again

    A great mixture of quirkiness & luxury, with some fun touches. Very friendly hosts with random amusing anecdotes thrown in! Extremely comfortable bed & lovely shower. Fabulous breakfast of your choice, cooked exactly how you want it, as well as a huge choice of fresh, healthy options. Yummy homemade lemon curd; yummy orange & plum compote. Very pretty, private garden; quiet location, only 15 minute walk to the seafront. Plenty of free parking with CCTV.
