Such a lovely Yorkshire Pub. Great location to explore the surrounding villages. The accomodation was very nice and modern in a renovated stone building next to the pub.

Perfect & luxe stay in the countryside. I loved the beautiful bathtub and thoughtful little touches. The in-room coffee provided was artisan ground coffee with a french cafetiere. The pictures don't do this inn justice - look forward to returning.

A lovely bed and breakfast with tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable rooms and friendly owners. It was nice having a hot breakfast choice as well as cereal, toast, fruit, etc. Historic York was only a 10 minute walk away. Make sure to check out the Burton Stone and its history in the front garden.

Finally, a typical hotel! The room was very light, spacious, immaculately clean and quiet. There was not only a kettle in the room, but a whole range of teas, snacks and hot chocolate. The view from the window was lovely and the bathroom with bath was exceptional! Breakfast is served in picnic baskets and can be pre-ordered, again typical products and finally not the usual fake hotel breakfast. There is always a corner with hot drinks and snacks. In short, impossible not to feel good!
