Absolutely superb xx loved it here. I arrived looking like a drowned rat after a long bike ride in torrential rain. My bike and I felt very sorry for ourselves but our wonderful hosts wrapped me up in a warm room with maidens and heaters to help dry me out (sorry bike!) and a great shower! and homemade Scottish tablet.... what a treat! would definitely stay here again on my NC500 route plus bonus.... a superb local motorbike garage round the corner..... an absolute must!

A good place to stay if you are travelling by car and want to explore the north east coast of Scotland. The accommodation and food were perfect. Best of all was Kacey. She was very friendly. She was practically always available on WhatsApp whenever we needed anything (for example a few more toasts for breakfast). Although my English is not the best, I had no problem understanding everything she said. If I ever travel to the north of Scotland again, I would come back here.

The house is charming, located in a nice and quiet part of town, and the room was lovely and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay at Impala House. Communication with Kerry and Peter was quick, smooth, and very friendly. There’s plenty to explore in the area as well – including several caves along the shoreline.

Thrumster House is an incredible, old laird's house, and you truly feel like royalty stepping into the spacious foyer and gallery. The rooms were decorated with really nice touches and were filled with personal memorabilia of the host family. Everything was very clean and charmingly done, breakfast was incredibly delicious and the host very kind and helpful. Thrumster House is the perfect place for anyone who ever visited a National Trust building and thought "I would like to spend a night here".

Although an older property, the Nethercliffe is spotless. Comfy beds, excellent shower. Easy to park. Close to the town. A little pub and restaurant make it the complete package. We would definitely stay here again.

This 19th Century property was previously home to the harbour masters of Pulteney, and has now been converted into bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Wick.

Clean, peaceful, lovely room with fab views of the sea. Good shower. Comfy bed. Grab and go brekkie was ace and more than we expected and was a welcome treat which we used on the nearby beach. Our host was fab and able to answer any queries. The local was v good food and beer wise and staff were friendly All in all 10 / 10 and would recommend to anyone doing the NC500 or just visiting this beautiful area
