We were here for 2 nights. Great room down stairs. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. Free parking was great. Breakfast was really good and the lady serving it was extremely lovely and very helpful. Didn't have time to sample the meals but they certainly had a good range. Being from Australia we found the décor of the hotel fascinating with all the wood beams etc. Great place for a stay and a meal I would say.

Service was perfekt, breakfast really good and generous! The village Montacute Is a real gem. We enjoyed the quiz at the local pub, failed of course, we are swedes!!! Next day we visited the Montacute House (we got a gift voucher from the host, thanks!) and took part in I guided tour by Ray, really interesting history.

    We enjoyed delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast at the pub, which had a lovely atmosphere. Room was comfortable, quiet and we had good night sleep. The proximity to Montacute House and the charming village provided excellent opportunities for enjoyable walks. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience.
