A perfect place to relax and unwind with a lovely view of the lake..The loft room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We loved the added touch of a vase of beautiful gladioli flowers. We stayed in Athlone purely because some friends lived close by. What a pleasant surprise both the town and Riverdale House were. Riverdale had everything we needed and wanted. Clean, comfortable, an easy walk into town, friendly and helpful hosts, and easy parking. What more could you want? Breakfast was an excellent continental breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay

    The room was spotless and cozy. I had everything I needed.Best of all, the house was so quiet! I had a fantastic sleep. I had a very short walk into athlone town and took a lovely walk by the river. Great location

    We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The lady explained everything to us. It was a pretty big and clean room with a nice garden view. It’s very close to the city centre and it is very quiet. It was a bit unfortunate when I found out that this bed and breakfast had no breakfast! But altogether we had a very pleasant stay.

    This is a beautiful bed and breakfast, very quaint and a great location to the town. The room was very comfortable with a lovely en-suite and amazing shower. The owners of the property were extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
