The lady owning the property is absolutely lovely, helped us with anything we needed. We were told no breakfast was available for the stay but we still got coffee/tea and cookies. The location also was good and close to everything we needed, pub, bar, the port and the road to the cliffs. Next time we are visiting Ireland will stay here again.

If you're looking for an authentic family-run B&B experience, this is the gold standard. I travel often due to work - and I've had the privilege to stay in so many places all over the world (Japan, Estonia, Malta, Portugal, South Korea, Germany, USA etc etc etc). Churchfield is going to hold a special place in my heart. My big mistake was not booking more nights in this lovely place! (if you end up feeling the same way, just ask them if they have extra rooms available). Aoiefa and her family has taken so much trouble to make you as comfortable as possible - it's all the little things from the tea & coffee in the room, the hot water bottle, the thoughtfully provided toiletries etc. The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was warm & inviting. You can tell they love their guests, they are passionate about what they do, and hospitality is what they are all about. The location is excellent for an adventure to the Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands. Not to mention that across & along the street you can walk to Irish pubs with trad music (even though we were there in an off season). All in all it was a memorable stay. Thank you for welcoming us into your family home ❤️

We stayed for one night and this was our first time at a B&B. It was better than we can imagine. We were treated by Mary Ellen who was basically expecting us. Check in was seamless. Showed us to our room and we were so happy with the size. Informed us how to choose our breakfast for the morning. Property is in the PERFECT location in Doolin. Walk out the door to the right or left and there are pubs and places to eat less than a 15 minute walk. The beds were so comfy. I have stayed in top tier hotels and these beds felt like HOME!!! Breakfast was great. I was told to try Irish milk and they did have it and to no surprise it was amazing. The view from the dining room looking out front is great. Frank cooked our meals and even sat down with us to have a coffee and tell us more about our surrounding.
