Our stay at the Sycamore Lodge was a highlight of our trip! John and Kieran were exceptional hosts! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely tea with homemade scones and other treats. The house is simply beautiful and we felt immediately at home. Kieran was especially helpful in giving us tips and information about our ancestors who lived in Kilkee. We didn't think things could get any better and then, after a wonderful night's sleep, we woke up to an amazing, breakfast. It was almost too beautiful to eat! This really was home from home. We had a beautiful room with the perfect view. Teresa made us very welcome and breakfast was delicious, her home made scones are the best we've tried! The best thing about the property is the feeling of being away from it all, it's total peace, quiet and fresh air. We would love to return.
