Great host. Gerard's place is a work in progress, alterations going on. This was not a problem. He was so obliging and we had some great conversations. A shame we only spent one night. Was able to make use of the kitchen which was a huge bonus. Gave us some great bread he had and sent us away with sparkling water and an Irish travel blessing. Thanks Gerard for sharing your home with us.

Norman and Marie were very nice ! The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast they prepared for us was delicious. Norman and Marie were very kind and available for advice and comments on where to eat and what to visit.

We loved the spaciousness and light of the design, the gorgeous antique furniture - we slept in an exquisite 4-poster bed. We loved the excellent, generous breakfast, with choices of cereal, yoghurt, two kinds of good bread and homemade jams, fresh coffee, etc. We also enjoyed the warm, personal welcome by the owner and her concern for our comfort and enjoyment. For instance she brought us plain youhurt and fresh fruit on request.

With free Wi-Fi throughout and private parking on site, this guest house has a peaceful reading room and a breakfast room overlooking Bunratty village. Shannon Airport is only 10 minutes’ drive away.

Sinead and Sean have lovely home which is beautifully maintained. that room was pretty and very comfortable with plenty of space. the bathroom was spotless and gleaming. There were a variety of different breakfast options and the food was just delicious. We enjoyed the short walk to the castle, the folk park and the village. Beat of all were the lovely hosts and Sinead made us feel so welcomed. I cannot recommend this stay enough and certainly hope to return in the future to explore the area more.

Communication with the host was quick and easy. Since we had to check in later than the usual hours, we were given clear instructions for self check-in, which worked perfectly without any difficulties. The room was comfortable and ideal for a good night’s rest, while the breakfast served by the host was varied, tasty, and generous. Everything was offered with great kindness.

Phyll was a super host who couldn’t do enough to accommodate me. Lovely place to stay with lovely staff…lovely and peaceful,will definitely stay again.
