We stayed here for one week as we explored County Galway. The house is centrally located, so it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go within one hour. Mary and Gerry are fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home. Mary gave us great suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the area. Each morning we had a hot breakfast prepared to order. We wanted a local Irish place to stay, and that is exactly what we got!

Quiet, clean, spacious, excellent hosts, great breakfast, nice private space. Close to Cong with church and Avery runs to see. Ashford castle grounds are beautiful. Great location for a coastal drive to Westport and Clifden JJ Burke pin in Clonbur has a great lamb dinner. Butcher shop in Cong has great sausage rolls.

1.5 miles from Ashford Castle in Cong, Blakehill House offers accommodations with access to a hot tub.

Bright, spacious room with very comfortable bed. The place was spotless and felt so fresh. We loved the in-room Continental breakfast - such a unique touch! Very close to Cong. Teresa is a lovely lady and we would definitely stay again - highly recommend!

Cong is a small town but the lodge was right in the centre. It was so easy to walk to everything.

Highly recommend staying here. The hosts and staff are super friendly and will look after you well. You can enjoy a big hearty Irish breakfast or as light as you like. Loved the coffee.
