Rose was super helpful and friendly. She even made us a tea tray when we checked in (even at 9 pm!), and my friends and I were able to hang out in the lounge that evening and play cards. It was a fantastic environment, comfy beds, and a wonderful Irish breakfast in the morning. We also got some great recommendations on less tourist-y things to do the next day, which ended up being fantastic!

The room was wide, cozy and very clean. Breakfast was very nice. The restaurant of the hotel has very tasty pizzas. No parking problems on the street.

Cloghan Lodge is located on the Killarney Road, 0.6 mi from Castleisland, an ideal base to tour the Wild Atlantic Way and Ring of Kerry.

This lodge is exceptional. Large room, sparkling clean, it had a feel of a castle dwelling with high ceilings and large windows, well lit, simply but beautifully furnished, comfortable bed, pillows and bedding, there was everything in it one may need while traveling. Was very pleasant to spend time in the common sitting area - there I felt like being in a lodge. Connie met me with a wide genuine smile and made sure to give me orientation of the area and went an extra mile to accommodate for the dietary requirements for breakfast. The breakfast room was so beautiful, I wanted to spend hours there. I am a seasoned traveler and stayed in 10 different places of a similar category during my Ireland trip. This place was my favorite one (I’d say ‘Top of the Line”) and no need to look for anything else should I return to Killarney area.

O'Neill's Bed & Breakfast provides panoramic ocean and countryside views of Ballyheigue beach, bay and mountains. The dining room and guest lounge directly overlook this scenery.

The location was amazing 🤩 Right on the ocean with a beautiful sandy beach:) The owners were so lovely:) Full of local knowledge. A good variety of breakfast choices.
