Warm welcome was made by Frank who ist the owner of the estate. Cooked breakfast was prepared according to customer's request. Frank always looked for demands of the guests. Nice decoration in the breakfast room. A very big part of a root of an oak tree. This root is really black and to be said approx. 5000 years old. It and was found in a moor land.

Mary was incredibly helpful--besides making sure that I feel comfortable and enjoy the area, she also helped me with looking for resources for my PhD research (the reason why I came to Tullamore). She absolutely went out of her way to look for things I could do and it is greatly appreciated, as it made my stay a real success. The house is very well located just off the main square and beside a very nice river. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom, and beautifully furnished. I will absolutely be back!

We were greeted and settled in for the night, the pub was a lot of fun and we had a really lovely stay. The room was gorgeous, newly remodeled, and everything felt very fresh and clean.

Fabulous B&B, booked for 2 nights for a friend's wedding near by. Bernie was a lovely host so easy to communicate with. Bed was super comfy and the breakfast was amazing. Huge selection from full Irish to pancakes and cereals with delicious homemade banana and walnut bread. Highly recommend.
