The location is extraordinary and the people were very helpful. A big thank you to Jittin who helped us recover a lost phone in town, his help was incredible and it made the whole experience in Kannur a 10 out of 10. Aparna and Ivory Coaste made our trip to Kannur absolutely delightful! The location is walking distance from two beautiful beaches. We walked up to one of the beaches the first morning and were blown away by the pristine beauty- gentle waves, clean white sand, coconut trees behind us, not a sign of trash. It felt like our own private beach. Our room at Ivory Coaste was spotless clean, airy and allowed lots of natural light in. But the highlight of the place for us was the food! Simple and delicious Kerala style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had appams and puttu for breakfast and fish, squid curry for lunch/dinner. Aparna even accommodated our (North Indian🫣) request for chapatis for our dinner one night. Another thing that elevated our Kannur experience was our trip to see Theyyam at local temple. Since this was reason we chose to come to Kannur in the first place, Aparna connected us to Jithin, a knowledgeable Theyyam guide who not only took us to the venue, but also told us about the tradition and how we should conduct ourselves at the temple. We would highly recommend Ivory Coaste to anyone visiting Kannur. Our deepest gratitude to Aparna for making our trip memorable.

One of the best stays i ever had in India. The location is amazing in the middle of the jungle but 4 minutes walk to an almost always empty and clean beach, Thottada Beach. Sreeranj is the best host ever and his wife Jyothi. Also the kid who works there (i can´t remember the name) is great and super helpful. Great homemade food everyday served on a table you share with other guests, which is a great way to share and know other people. Rooms are confortable and clean. Sreeranj was always super helpful, had great conversations and he arranged a couple of visits to different Theyyams, a must if you are on festival season. Super recommended and would definitely go back!

We were supposed to stay 3 nights and we actually extended our stay to 10 days because we felt in love with this place. The location is amazing and the food is just fantastic. They have the best cook !!! we highly recommand for people looking for a peaceful environment.
