We stayed in one of the 3 cottages. Three bedrooms/two baths (one bedroom is in a loft). Nice common area. Full kitchen. Waterfall in the back. We went in winter so it was frozen, but still beautiful. If you're staying in a cottage you do need to check in at the hostel down the road so be sure and email them ahead. They have a restaurant a few blocks away that is delicious and they sell hand knitted authentic Icelandic sweaters there, too. About 20 minute drive from the lagoon/Diamond Beach. Highly recommend.

Great old Farmhouse, comfortable beds, fridge included, with a couple of restaurants close by and a full breakfast included (toast, porridge, cheeses, ham, cereal, fruit, vegetables etc). Thora was very helpful with Icelandic advice. AAA+++
