Easy late check in. Quiet accommodation in panoramic surrounding. Although I forgot to order breakfast in advance I was offered coffee and tea by the very kind hostess Ida.

    - The cottage is very pretty and in a perfect location overlooking the mountains and the fjord. All of us fell in love with it. - Good sized bedrooms, living room and kitchen with adequate utensils and lots of spices and other things left by previous guests. - It's in a quiet area and easy to just relax there. I think we were the only guests there at the time and it felt more special and private. The small town of Olafsfjordur is quite interesting too. It's a bummer that we couldn't see any northern lights while we were there.

The hot tub was easy to fill and was private and had a roof so it covered if it rained. Parking was right outside the cabin. The town was very peaceful.
