Everything was perfect! The cabin was impeccably clean and well-organized, and the host was incredibly friendly and attentive. The location is excellent for viewing the Northern Lights—I was lucky to witness an incredible show. Even though I booked just 30 minutes before arriving, everything was ready for me. We had a family room with a mountain view. I loved the horses in the parks right next to the accommodation, the pictures and drawings of horses all over the walls... It's the perfect place for horse riding (although we found the price for the ride rather expensive, we were delighted to go as a private group). You have a real whirlpool bath with the accomodation (and not just a simple hot bath as sometimes referred to in Iceland as a hot tub). The establishment is spacious and clean. A little away from the main road (N1).

Karuna is the best guesthouse we've been in Iceland. The room is beautiful and very large; the toilet is large too and warm. Common areas are beautiful and spacious, probably the kitchen is not very large but it is not an issue. The breakfast was very nice, just like other breakfasts we had in Iceland. Just outside our room, there were a hot tub and a beautiful sauna (60-70°C)

Accomodation smells fresh & clean. There are extra towels in the bathroom, free coffee and tea. Hot tub with a view, if you like to take a warm bath. Water comes from a natural source via drill hole. Owner lives across the street and is available for further questions. You wake up to a stunning view ❤️.

This was my favorite stay in all of my Iceland trip. The guesthouse was very modern, exceptionally clean, and the attention to detail in the amenities was apparent. The host Sonya was extremely friendly and the breakfast included homemade breads. Common areas were comfy as well.
