Room with great character. Some pleasing aspect/style wherever one looks. Would have liked days to peruse the books. As a hiker coming off the trail: strong hot shower.

Everything about our stay at Santino's House was way above and beyond anything we expected. Leandro is a professionally trained chef and his breakfasts were a visual and scrumptious delight. He is an artist and everything about the property reveals his discerning eye and hand. He recommended two restaurants; the first a simple bistro owned by two charming sisters; the second, Trattoria della Posta, a fine dining place in the hills above Peveragno; both wonderful. We were the first American guests at each of these. He recommended hikes in the Pesio valley; ascend along the right side for the best mountain views and trout counting in the deep clear pools. Peveragno is not a tourist town though it has a charming medieval center.

DolceMente in Piaggia provides accommodations with a garden, a terrace, and a bar. Wellness packages is available for guests. This pet-friendly bed and breakfast also has free Wifi.

We were so happy to arrive at B&B Dolcemente after a tiring day of hiking and be greeted with such a wonderful welcome at this gem of a B&B. This beautifully restored stone home and comfortable room were just what we needed . We had a delicious dinner prepared by Monica at the restaurant down the lane. This was a really enjoyable place and a restoring rest.
