the breakfast at the little cafe next door was a really nice addition. We stayed with young kids and they provided a cot. The free parking is a short walk, but excellent that it is included.

First of all, the host is a very friendly and kind man! The location of the accommodation is more than excellent and the option to park in the courtyard is second to none!!! The advice we received for a place to dine at was also excellent and our dinner was very tasteful and we did enjoy it a lot. I wanted a bed for the night in a clean room and I wanted privacy. I got all of this for a comparatively good price. In the high season, prices in the area are generally much higher. They offer a very fair deal, are friendly, and they received me at 1am because my flight was delayed, without any problem. Nice bakery around the corner for breakfast!

Our time at RIAREL was great - the room with bathroom was spacious, new and exceptionally clean, as well as the common areas; we had no issues whatsoever. The place is tucked away from traffic in the small village of Rodero, a good location to visit Como and the surrounding areas within a short drive. Don't worry about the 'self-serve' breakfast: it's generous, with plenty of choice and of good quality; the kitchen is well kept and you have everything you need to cook meals for yourself. Carlo is an exceptional host, friendly and kind, and provided some good tips for restaurants and things to do during our short stay.
