Our stay was perfect! We decided to enjoy the beauty of Aso a bit longer and booked the house quite late, but everything went great. The host was very kind and communicated with us in English. When we arrived, it felt like visiting parents in a cozy country home — we felt so comfortable. And the breakfast was delicious! The owners are such a nice couple, very kind. We really enjoyed our days at hostel+cafe. The place is beautiful, very clean and confortable. The food was very tasty, Japanese traditional breakfast. We strongly recommend it.

Nice cabin that meet our stay needs. Super helpful owner. During our stay that night, our rented car, roads were all covered with snow. Owner help to reach out to nearby mechanic so we could get the tyre chains and resume our journey

The host is very helpful and hospitable.He even drove us to the bus and train station. The facility is decorated with the most precious works of art.We had breakfast served, and it was also a feast of a meal.We received 5 star treatment at Bellbird Hotel.Our beds were comfy..Rooms had enough space.Bathroom facilities were clean and in order.

Great place to stay in Takachiho. We arrived much later than anticipated due to the roads to Takachiho, but the owner went out of her way so we would be able to check in and get to shower and eat before the doors closed down. The place has multiple restaurants and bars around, and a gas station. Convenience stores are pretty far, so don't count on those unless you are willing to drive for a few minutes.

I like that even with the small space evrything seems enough. Perfect for 3 people. The location is near the bus stop which make it easier to commute. There is also a cafe & mart nearby.

Great communication, and the owner was friendly and very accommodating. We had some questions about the check in time, and the owner was very responsive and helpful. The location is great, about a 15 minute walk to the Gorge, and about 5 minutes drive to the town and supermarkets. There is also an amazing restaurant right next door. The accomodation comes with a parking space which is very helpful. We got the whole place to ourselves, and it was very spacious. Our stay was during the winter, and the accomodation includes a heater and air conditioning which made our stay very comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen is well equipped and has good hot water and pressure. It was a wonderful experience!
