The host was exceptional and really made sure we were looked after during our stay. On the day we were due to arrive, he texted us to ensure we had transport from the train station and even met us at the top of the road to carry our luggage in his tuk tuk. In addition to this, he arranged transport for us to our next destination for a very fair price. The cabin was lovely, nice and spacious and lovely attention to detail with decor etc., also, just a 10 minute walk to the town. The breakfast was great and we felt very looked after during our stay.

This is a real gem. We booked the family room and the double room which were both clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The view is just incredible and so relaxing. The scenery in the morning is just amazing when you see and hear all the surroundings waking up. From the start, we were welcome with such a nice friendly atmosphere and they went over their duty to make us happy. We all absolutely loved it and will come back. Mr. Laal has a great facility and service. The rooms are spotless and the balconies overlook a beautiful forest. It is great to have breakfast there and watch the nature. The location is central and there are many restaurants, pubs, markets and shops around. It is within walking distance to the 9 arch bridge and other tourist attractions. Mr. Laal dropped us off at Yala park and from there to our hotel in Tangalle. He also arranged the Yala safari. Thank you once again. See you again.

    Inmeshed in nature, the view from the room's terraces and common areas is beautiful. The B&B is just a short stroll to the city center and Ella train station, but at the same time very peaceful and quiet. I appreciated recieving a tea upon my arrival and also having free bottled water, a kettle and tea bags in the room. My room had a fan and a mosquito net and I did not need an AC, as Ella and Sri Lanka's hillside is cooler and fresher than other parts of the country. I enjoyed having a little private terrace, with jungle views.

    nice host surely there would be a charming view, unfortunately there was heavy fog during our stay you could hear music and parties in the city center but it was quiet in the hotel :))
