Dinusha, the owner of Sunshine Villa, is a very kind and honest person. He took very good care of us. The food is delicious. The rooms are clean and nice. The bathroom is clean. He took an elephant safari for a reasonable price. Thanks for that especially. A scooter was given to see the village of Sigiriya. Thanks for the care. Highly recommend.

The hosts were amazing! They helped us to arrange everything- day trips, transport. They took us to the sunrise, arranged taxi to our next location… all in all they were really helpful and that meant so much to us considering it was our first stop in Sri Lanka. Let’s not forget about the amazing pool and delicious food. Great people, amazing place. Also - the location is not a problem - the host is always willing to pick you up and drive you to the city center (free of charge) and the distance from the center means peaceful nights - we slept like a babies!

Dream Villa Sigiriya is truly a hidden gem. I received a warm welcome. Refreshing towel and a drink (non-alcoholic) upon arrival.  Everything was taken care of to perfection. As hospitality should be. You can tell that they do this with a lot of love. It's the little things that make the difference. Here you are not just a guest. Here you are their guest of honour. The room is spacious, fresh and clean. Room is according to the pictures on the website. Breakfast and dinner can be provided. They cooked a curry meal for me on  my last evening. Everything is prepared by themselves. And served in abundance! All meals were delicious. Too bad I could only stay here for two days. Was on tour. Would have happily stayed here for a week. I hope their villa remains a gem and I wish them good luck with finishing the second villa. Dear owners: you both are great and excellent hosts. I very much enjoyed my stay at your villa. It was an amazing experience. Keep up the good work. I will recommend this villa to all. Hospitality: 10. Accomodation: 10.

Amazing stay! I l strongly recommend this place to any traveler looking for some relaxing atmosphere. The family was very nice and super helpful in helping me to plan my stay. They provided very useful recommendations and help with ordering tuktuk. The food was the best I had in Sri Lanka so far, highly recommend to enjoy your dinner there. The room was very nice and clean, AC, huge bathroom. The garden was very pretty. The guesthouse is located a bit outside of the main road but the village is accessible by foot. Last but not least, I did the safari with the owner, which was one of the best experience I had. Safari was in Hurulu Forest Reserve, a very nice forest, and we saw lots of (baby) elephants. Highly recommended!
