We had a wonderful stay! The view is breathtaking, the room was amazingly clean and fresh with comfortable bed. The whole family was so helpful and kind, even helped us with food when we arrived late and hungry. Our best stay in sri lanka so far. Definitely recommend staying at mountain view guesthouse when you are in Kandy!

The hospitality shown by the family who own and run this property was wonderful. The gardens were beautiful and so well looked after . The breakfast was superb. Highly recommend Kumar was a huge help with our luggage and arranging our tuc tuc .

I have travelled a lot in my life, but here the hospitality and the gesture by the owner is next level. Property owner Prasad Dhanushka and Nadeeshan have thought well in advance keeping travellers party moond at the property. On special request they have arranged party speaker, hukka (sheesha) and also we cooked our own Indian style food at the property. Best part is you own the complete villa during the stay. Jump in to the pool at any time you wish.

The hostess Selyna is the nicest person on earth. She made sure that we were super comfortable. The view from the place is heavenly. It's calm and quiet but at the same time quite close to the center. She made a special breakfast for us and we enjoyed the nice view as we had it. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay. She gave us filtered water, recommended places to visit, and... had the friendliest dog Oli! When we moved out, we accidentally left some of our stuff at her place and she offered to send it to us with a courier service. We miss her so much and would love to come back one day!
