The room cleanliness and the bed comfort with clean sheets. All rooms have balconies with sitting area and mountains view. All rooms have a private bathroom and shower with water heater. The gentleman and his wife working there were very kind and helpful and will facilitate your stay. The food portions they served are enough for at least 2 people. The morning herbal soup is refreshing, and the dhal curry is the tasties I've ever had. Mostly, I enjoyed the view of the mountains and the tea gardens with the birds chirping in the morning. No room has AC, but you can always open the balconies doors and let the cold, fresh breeze circulate in. Temperature at night reaches 15 deg C.

We spent two fantastic days with Dhammika and his beautiful family who made us feel so welcome. Nestled among the sprawling tea plantations on the edge of the reservoir, the villa was simple but very comfortable, with a lovely view of the rolling green hills. Throughout our stay, Dhammika was a massive help, even driving us to the foot of Adam’s Peak in his tuk tuk at 1:30am and then showing us the various waterfalls and tea factories. He was a fount of local knowledge, and the breakfasts and dinners prepared by his wife and mother-in-law were delicious! Thank you, Dhammika!

Our stay was perfect! The greatest experience in Lanka. It was like at home, the family was so nice, took care of us, and were so kind and helpful. The dinner was really tasty, like at home, so delicious and sweet. And breakfast with beautiful view from the garden! We like our stay very much, want to cone again 🥰

Lovely family, cosy room, clean and nice balcony with great view. Home made food was delicious. 10min walk from the train station. They also organised me a good tuktuk driver for Adam's peak for a very reasonable price. Can strongly recommend this accomodation.

This place is a perfect hub for Nanuoya and surrounding area. There is a waterfall close by and you live in the tea fields. You are close to the train and there are multiple viewpoints to look if that interests you. The family is extremely nice and we enjoyed every interaction and tea cup. If you are staying in Nanu Oya I would definitely live her. Very clean, perfect location, close to the train station and it’s a great family that runs the hostel. Since we left at 5.30 in the morning we missed the good breakfast that’s included, but the host woke up at the same time we did and made us egg sandwiches to bring on the train.
