Comfortable rooms that seem newly renovated. All clean. We found no ants in our room. The hostess was one of the nicest people we have met in Sri Lanka. She was so welcoming and kind. Showed us animals and plants in her garden. The food was delicious and affordable, we even got complimentary smoothies. And the safari we booked through JAMI had a good price. Thank you!

After some time travelling I feel safe to say that you can tell the difference between people just making money of you and people who really know what they are doing and want the best for you. And Priya only wants the best for you and he will go out of his way to give you anything you want. From picking us up at the bus stop for free, coming to get us when it started raining and we were in the city, taking us to a beautiful little safari around the lake at sunset showing us lots of birds, crocodiles and bats, recommending us which buses to take from and to other destinations, to organizing the best safari we could hope for. He recommended us to do a full day in block 1 and we are really happy we took his advice. Priya works with very experienced guides and we had an amazing safari and even though it was peak season we managed to be most of the day alone and witness the park for what it is with its beauty and variety of animals. The accomodation itself is quite simple but it was more than enough for us. Nice clean room, good wifi, good AC, good food, comfortable bed. Absolutely recommend!

We had such a great stay at Lake Face Cabana! The treehouse is right on the lake where we enjoyed relaxing and bird watching with the sunrise early in the morning. Fantastic food prepared by our hosts who are a very warm and kind family. This was a great spot to head into Yala on safari or just enjoy relaxing from the cabana balcony. We hope to return again one day - Thank you!!

I had an amazing stay at V Cabanas! The host is a great person. I was scammed during a safari and when I came to V Cabanas the day after, the host and his friend figured out how I was scammed (I was taken for a "safari" out of the official Yala Park). They offered to take me to the police and they did all the communications for me. He and his friend treated me like I never was before in all my travels. If you need to feel in safe hands and that you will find help when needed, come here. The accomodation it self is excellent. Super clean room and bed sheets, with new modern bathroom. I have only positives to say about the hosts and the room it self!

It is a modest but wonderful accommodation close to Yala National Park. The accommodation is run by a very nice family. Everyone is still smiling and offering sweet tea. Here you feel more like a welcome member of the family than just a guest. The room has everything you need. There is a comfortable bed a fan and a clean bathroom. There is a wonderful quiet sitting area outside with a view of the rice field. Here you can watch the birds feeding. What more could a traveler ask for? At the end of my stay they went with me to the main street and made sure I got on the right bus. Thanks for that! It was great at your place! Thank you for your hospitality and for the perfect chat in the morning with the view from your garden! I really appreciate it. It was great! I wish you many happy guests and good luck with your plans to expand your business with more tables in your restaurant! I keep my fingers crossed for you! Great job! It's just what it looks like in the pictures.. a tropical paradise! The room was large enough for the 3 of us and very clean. They provided secure parking for our bikes, and the service was above and beyond. We really appreciated the fact that they made us pack lunches for our safari, which were excellent lunch was great too.

The best stay in Sri Lanka. The host was very attentive and kind. The room was very clean and big, and had a safari vibe🙂. The food was absolutely delicious - fish with pineapples was my favourite. The host organised our safari, wake us in early morning, gave us breakfast to go, and we had lunch after trip. We met an elephant on way back to hotel, and fed him with bananas. So I recommend not to eat bananas and save it for elephants) I’d recommend to stay there for 2 or 3 days, cause after safari you want to rest and lay in hammock. I”ll return to stay here, I’m sure)

    Great location on a big block of land next to a lake that had water buffalo in the afternoon. Nice pool to cool off in, the room was tidy with a/c and fan that worked well. The staff could not do enough for you and the highlight was the prepared meals, delicious food and large serves at a very cheap price. We also did a Yala safari from there which was organised by the manager Dilipa where we saw heaps of wildlife including a leopard and bear. We loved our stay and highly recommended it.

    A very beautiful and quiet environment. The room and bathroom were very clean. The dinner was very delicious. We went on a private safari from them. It was very precious. We were very happy with it. We saw many animals. We were lucky to see leopards. The driver is very experienced. A new jeep and very comfortable. The next day they found us a taxi for a very cheap price to go to the falls. Everything was fine.
