What a joy it was to stay here! The Riad itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The bed was great and everything so clean and beautiful. The best part of my trip was the incredible heart-felt hospitality and care I received from Abdel, and communication from Lucy. In addition to supporting at the Riad, Abdel gave me an incredible tour that has made for some of the best memories on my trip. As a solo woman traveller, it was incredibly comforting to receive that kind of care and access into all the parts, history, flavours and people you get to meet and learn about in the Medina. Loved my stay at this traditional Moroccan beach house. Everything was authentic and natural. The lady at the reception and staff were so friendly and kind — I felt truly welcome.

We had a great stay at Dar Fama! The staff is very friendly and helpful (they'll pick you up at one of the old city gates, and they're available 24 hours), the riad is beautiful and super clean, and the view from the terrace at breakfast is awesome. Our room was spacious, with a loft-style bed above the living area (but not directly overhead...the ceilings are quite high). The breakfast was good with several local products. The area in the medina was also fantastic, but thank goodness for Google Maps! 😀 The location is easy walking distance to everywhere in the medina and Ensanche (the new town).
