The hosts were lovely 🙂. Very welcoming. The room, upstairs apartment is comfortable and nice. Everything is provided for. Cooker, microwave, fridge, cutlery. The shops and supermarket are nearby. I experienced a home cooked mauritian dinner which was delicious. Rochester waterfall is nearby. The host kindly took me to see the warerfall on my first day. It was amazing to see. She also kindly took me to visit other nearby places.amd advised me on routes and attractions to see. I thanked her because she took the time out of her schedule. I know it's not always possible to have time when running a guest house. There are several nearby public beaches within walking distance that are uncrowded and peaceful. There are many other places to visit and unfortunately I did not book enough days. I will definitely come back next time.

delicious breakfast with choice, very nice staff, large rooms. Some elements need refreshing, but it does not interfere with the stay. Staff very helpful, even an early breakfast before leaving for the airport was no problem. Thank you!

Fantastic place with great staff & as everyone says the access to the wonderful Beach club was great after travelling round the island .. bit of luxury for a few days before we went home

Very quiet area, ideal for honeymoon even though it's not a five/four star hotel, but most likely a three-star hotel There was a very large parking space Very nice hosts and a really nice beach, which is not very crowded is found just next to the building Good breakfast served on the back balcony Regards from Graham and Sophie.

My rating is relative to the price - we booked 2 rooms and got a whole apartment - with a terrasse on the second floor and the rooftop terrasse - with a fantastic view over the canyon and the waterfalls. Even though the hosts was busy - they were so kind and helpfull. A misunderstanding about the time for our guided tour, was immediately fixt by the host. We have also booked dinner at the place - and got a lovely traditional dinner, so we could try it. For the dinner, water and guided tour for 4 persons we payed 7600 mur to the host. I believe it is much cheaper than if we booked a tour online. The host can also help with guided tours to Le Morne. (You can find a drone footage of the area and the falls at youtube, that we made)

Gite des Acacias is located in Carreau Acacias, just 2 km away from Le Bouchon Beach. The bed and breakfast has an outdoor pool.

We had a great time staying at Gite des Acacias and it felt as being at home, 10 minutes’ drive from the airport, clean and comfortable rooms, and delicious meals. Close to the places that we wanted to visit: Black River Gorges National Park, Ile aux Aigrettes and La Vallée de Ferney. Fully recommended!!!
