This felt like home outside of our home! Welcome was more than warm, it felt like going back to old friends :) Room was nicely decorated-cozy and clean, bed was super comfortable. I also appreciated that solar energy was used to make the water warm. Room was not big, but for few nights stay it is ok. Backyard, where breakfast is served, is surrounded by beautiful garden.

Victor was very kind and always available. It is a simple and essential dwelling. The AC is great as the mosquito net. The kitchen comes with all you may need including coffee, oil, and salt. The morning fresh fruits the household provides makes it even more pleasant.

It is an absolutely amazing place near Bacalar. Perfect if you come with your own car, otherwise you have to take a taxi or walk (it's about 2-3km to the center of Bacalar). Rooms are very clean and beautiful, Cynthia (the renter) is very friendly. I extended my staying there because Bacalar is one of the best places in Yucatan (very calm, lot of nice bars and restaurants with a good vibe, not many tourists) and this accommodation was perfect.
