I have to say a big thank you to the owner here. Not only did we get to live in a beautiful, historic house, it was also a pleasure for me to experience this house from a conservation perspective. Unfortunately, many of the historic houses there are falling into disrepair, but this house has been renovated with great attention to detail and is therefore well preserved. The house is huge, absolutely clean, cozy and in a central location. Every morning we received a present from Mr. Viktor. The bed was very comfortable (very important for me), and despite the central location it was relatively quiet. Communication was great, helpful, friendly, it was as perfect as it rarely happens. Everything is right down to the smallest detail, something I've never experienced before.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and were great at providing suggestions for the area. The accommodation itself is a beautiful building with such a lovely common room. My room was clean and comfortable, didn’t hear much noise if any. The bathroom was clean. I would have loved to stay longer.

The place is quiet but close to the main Street in the same time. The room was clean and comfy, you have gel, shampoo and etc. There is also shared kitchen which is very nice if you go for long stay.     Uncle Kee is a great host and the apartment is comfortable and good value for money in a great location close to restaurants, local shops and all the attractions in Melaka's historic centre. We were also very grateful to Uncle Kee for all his recommendations, including the weekly fruit market, the Portuguese settlement and the straits mosque. His food recommendations were all excellent.
