I was surprised how nice, beautiful and comfortable was this place! The room has all necessary things, even AC for heat and cold! The host and personal was very nice and friendly. The guest house in general looks like museum! Highly recommend this place if you are going to stay in Walvis Bay

When I was searching for where to stay on Booking.com, something told me that this was the place for me. It was! I can't imagine there's a better B&B in town. Haus Schaaf was perfect for me and exceeded my expectations by a very long way. It hadn't crossed my mind that I could have such a happy stay. Truly an exceptional B&B and definitely not like a hotel. This is a place worthy of your reciprocal respect, so if you like the idea of being welcomed to a person's home this is it. For a pure hotel or self catering experience, you'll do better elsewhere. I'm delighted and grateful for all the many details and the big things too - like location, breakfast, communications, etc. Location is right were international tour operators bring people to see the flamingos on the lagoon. Breakfast was excellent: bountiful, freshly cooked and served with enormous care. Everything worked perfectly and I am enormously grateful. The recommendations for the tours turned out to be off the charts. This is a special place. Thank you.

    Staff were friendly on arrival. There was garage parking for our car which was great! Breakfast was lovely and had a homely feel as a member of staff cooked in front of us to order. Very quiet area. Felt very private. Bathroom was huge. I mean damn son. The size of it.
