The breakfast was excellent- very catered to our desires-fruit salad (fruit from their yard), homemade muffins, homemade, tasty muesli, yogurt, & juice with great company. Very gracious to us-directions & tips to our ongoing plans. Able to take a tour of their garden.

This was located very conveniently near the ferry for the QCT. The decor was gorgeous, from the little outside courtyard, to the bedroom and the bathroom. Speaking of which, I enjoyed an amazing soak in the large bath with all the amenities provided. The little touches like wine on arrival and bathrobes were much appreciated. And we were glad of some helpful hints about the local wineries when we left.

The house has plenty of living space, a large garden area around it (and cute sheep neighbours!) while being within 5 minutes of walking to the waterfront. The bedrooms are classic, while the bathroom and modern kitchen and living area feel more recently renovated and were light and spacious. We loved how easy it was to enter, we appreciated the heating options, and overall loved our stay here.

Originally built in the 1920s, Picton House B&B and Motel is ideally located for exploring the Queen Charlotte Track. It is 5 minutes' walk from the waterfront.
