I have never rated an accomodation 10/10before …..because it is not possible ( I thought ) If you enjoy well curated accomodation, sleeping to the sound of the waterfall, great views and a quiet but central location …. I recommend Matakana Waterfall Hideaway

Very handy to go snorkelling near Goat Island. Penny was very kind and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Lots of rooms to use , plenty of breakfast.There was lots to do in the area which unfortunately we didn’t have time for.

    The Breakfast was excellent and so were the hosts. The location was ideal for the family party we attended. It was peaceful and quiet and very private with nice views of the garden. We would definitely stay here again

    Lovely setting, so quiet but close enough to walk to town. Private rooms that access out to garden, not internal. Friendly hosts and great breakfast with all you could ask for. The bed was super comfy and the shower had great pressure.
