Wow I can’t say enough positive things about this place! The hosts were lovely - very accommodating and great communication. The apartment itself was warm and cosy and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. And the location was outstanding….VERY short walk to gardens and cable car and so handy to everything Wellington has to offer. We wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back.

It was the perfect place and we would have happily stayed longer. Free parking, public transport easily accessible, lovely suburb with lots of amenities, close to the hills/mountain bike park, quiet. The accommodation was very well equipped and had air-conditioning. Attentive hosts, too.

We had our most pleasant stay and lovely stay at Richmond Guest House. John, the owner, is an incredible kind and warm person that made us feel at home. I am pregnant and didn't feel good so I was really grateful for the peaceful rest. The room was nice and clean and we enjoyed having our own bathroom. Parking was easy directly in front of the door and for free. We could do our laundry and enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Highly recommended place with heart!

Mark’s house is beautiful and cosy. You feel at home right away. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and well furnished. Mark’s hospitality is outstanding. Last but not least, the house is located in a very ideal spot; just 5 minutes from the cable car and the botanic gardens. We would have gladly spent more nights there.
