What a view. The most clear water outside the House on the beach. This property is perfect after going to Wadi Shab. You Can relax afterwards here. There is a terasse and a pool. Very clean room.

Fig Shades is a great place to relax and a great base to visit Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi/Mibam. Mr. Santosh is a very kind and helpful host! He helped me arrange a trip to Wadi Mibam at a great price by Omani standards, which is great because the road to get there is difficult. There are also 3 restaurants nearby (10 min walk) as well as grocery shops (5-10 min walk). The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool is also nice. When you reach the big tree on the side of the road (the one that’s shown on Google street view), keep going a few meters towards the flyover and you’ll find a ‘Fig Shades’ signboard. If you can’t read Arabic, it’s the hotel next to 'Tiwi Omantel Telephone Exchange’ on Google Maps.

Tiwi nomad was lovely and in a great location, however it was the staff that really made our trip amazing. Farhan in particular went above and beyond at every opportunity, giving us great local recommendations and helping us with absolutely everything. This isn’t the most fancy building, but it’s really new. I rate it 10 because of the staff (Tori) and the facilities. it’s a such a cosy place with a big common area and a kitchen you can use - water, tea and coffee available and a spot to hang out. We only stayed one night but would defiantly like to come back. the place is in a small village and right by the sea.
