I loved my 4 night stay at Liwayway Sa Bohol and wish I could have stayed even longer! People - the staff and the local people in the village - here are so sweet and the location in the tiny island of Pamilacan absolutely wonderful. My room had a terrace and view of the sea; it was spacious, clean and comfortable. Warm welcome by Ivy at the reception. Food cooked by lovely Gaga and the kitchen team was delicious. The owner, Elvira, is environmentally aware and offered many interesting conversations and local recommendations for my onward travel. I also loved the skillful massages by Gina and highly recommend her. This is the perfect, natural place for those who appreciate peace and simple pleasures of being outside in the nature, enjoying the ocean and listening to the sea and seeing stars at night.

We had an amazing stay at Gomez Guest House. Absolutely wonderful owner, great room, perfect breakfast. Managed also scooters for us for a great price and since we had an early ferry ride, drove us to the port. Highly recommend everyone as a great base for exploring Bohol. Mia the host was wonderful, as it was just me she went out of her way to check in. She had great recommendations for nearby restaurants and beach resorts. She also did my washing and I rented a bike. The room was clean and comfortable. You can also order grab food there and Mia walked me to the nearest beach.

Quiet and friendly place. Business running by a family. Very large and comfortable rooms. Location is perfect. You have a coral reef garden just in front of the hotel. There are turtles and one of the most beautiful reefs I've ever seen. Delicious and eco dishes. The staff will help you to get to the Island from Bohol and get back. Just contact them. Friendly dogs around so take a dog food with you. On Bohol you can buy it at 7 Eleven. Here on the Island there is no chance to buy it.

The lady who checked us in was so lovely. We had good chats while eating dinner and she offered us bananas to try. It was nice to be able to sit at the dining table to eat. Lovely chilled water and boiling water available which we really appreciated. Air con worked great and the bed was comfy.So quiet so we got a really good night's sleep. We also had a fan in the room. Internet was great. I really appreciated the face cloth as well as the towel.

If I could recommend somewhere to stay in Bohol, it's definitely here! Especially so if you want to escape the city and just be in a quiet environment with nature. It was in a great location in relation to the chocolate hills, tarsier, etc., but also close enough. Diane was incredibly kind and understanding even before we arrived. The apartment itself was immaculate, fully equipped with everything we needed (and more), and the views couldn't be beaten.
