Very cosy and well located in Panglao. Nice and clean, well equipped Super friendly and helpful staff ! Even allowed a late check out as the room were not booked after us as we had a late flight in the evening Big plus : free ride around Panglao if the staff is available. Shuttle to the airport or even to port possible Dustin and his staff did everything to make us having a perfect stay :) recommend it 100% The best value for money we have had in the Philippines

Everything else! Simon and Christelle are amazing, super friendly and always very helpful. They even suggested a restaurant for us to go and called a tuk tuk to take us to a beautiful beach, much better than Alona. The balcony is fantastic, very quiet, very well kept. I highly recommend a staying in there.1

He had a lovely time staying here and couldn’t find any fault of the place. Staff was very accommodating and lovely. The place is good location but I would recommend renting a bike to be able to get to the main area. The road to the accommodation is an off road so it does get muddy so bare that in mind. The only thing to mention is that when I booked I thought there was a kettle in the room and one of the mentioned facilities was a kitchen. Although you could get hot water to the water refill I’m not sure what access you had to the kitchen so that was unclear to me.

Don’t let the lack of reviews put you off! This place is new and we had a great stay. Good location away from the noise, but only 7 minute walk to the centre. The road is a dirt road, but only a tiny section got muddy when it rained, so very easy to traverse. Also somewhat well lit. The staff were incredibly friendly and so lovely. They’d honestly do anything for you. We were running late for our ferry and they drove us themselves to the port. The room was really clean and the place is new. You also get a bug light in the room, which gives you peace of mind against mosquitoes. You’re also provided a kettle with coffee and some shampoo and body wash. The shower was on the colder side, but the pressure was amazing, best we’ve had so far. You are near local families, so expect some animal noises but it wasn’t too bothersome.

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The pool was sparkling clean and perfect for a refreshing swim. My room was well-equipped with a fridge and a safe, which added a lot of convenience to my stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant experience!"

We prolonged a couple of times due to personal things however the staff was very helpful and friendly about it. Swimming pool is very nice and location is good because it's a bit outside the centre so quiet and relaxed (you can rent very affordable scooters there)

Everything you need. Very helpful and friendly staff. You can rent a moped through them. Spacious room and the best shower - good water pressure and hot water. Wifi was great. Couple mins to the town by bike. Bus stops at the end of the road.

100% recommended. We had an excellent stay at JOHN VERHEL HOMES Guesthouse. The room was very nice, clean with comfortable beds and beside very affordable and not too expensive for a room with 2 double beds When I booked and sent a message to the host, she replied quickly and allowed us checked-in earlier too. The owner is very kind and helpful.♡ The room was clean and most of all no mosquitoes nor ants. It was peaceful and quiet even though it is located near the main lively street. We were very comfortable therefore we decided to extend our stay and the owner kindly accommodated us for 4 nights. She provided us free purified water. We also really appreciated the bathroom: clean, in good conditions with hot water supply (warm shower very much appreciated after salty day in the ocean and on the sands) The bath towels were pretty with a good smell♡ The Guesthouse is close to all facilities as well to the beach with an access by walking into the stairs within cheap "souvenirs" shop on the way. The owner allowed us to park our scooter, that we rented at the top of the street, just inside the garden. You can also ask for infos & advices as well. Thanks for your kindness. We just hope to come again.♡

    Simply a lovely place in a quiet location. The territory is a large beautiful garden, the pool is big and nice, there are hammocks and BBQ facilities. 10 minutes walk to the central corner of Jollibee and 7-11, a few more minutes down to Alona Beach from there. Lovely, private, quiet.

    The owner Emma and the family are great. Very helpful with all your questions. Great location, quiet location. Good rooms and bathrooms. We had a shared bathroom and once a private room with bathroom, both very clean. Breakfast is basic but good. They can also help you arrange a tricycle for a good price to anywhere. We came back 3 times what will say enough..
