I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming, owner-run guesthouse right on the beachfront and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and genuine hospitality of the owner, António, made me feel instantly at home. The location is simply unbeatable; stepping directly from the front door onto the boardwalk and having the sound of the waves lull me to sleep was a dream come true. My room was exactly as in the photo's advertised, immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated and very modern, and offered a breathtaking ocean view. What sets this guesthouse apart is the personal touch: the owner's attentiveness, the local recommendations tailored to my interests, and the sheer dedication to ensuring every guest has a perfect stay. It’s a peaceful, welcoming retreat that perfectly captures the magic of a beachfront getaway. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

Cozy town to travel to different directions (Porto, Braga, Coimbra, Aveiro) and relax after returning every evening. Great location of the hotel right on the ocean. The room was comfortable for me. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant every morning and table setting, done with special care. Special thanks to the owners and staff. These people love what they do and love their guests. I'm really grateful to you all. And once again I will thank the son of the owner, who did me a very valuable favor, getting a ticket to an international football match, although it wasn't easy. If I'm in this area again, I know where to stay.

I stayed at Alameda Guest House for a weekend getaway and was not disappointed. The hostess, Dona Fatima, is the friendliest person in the world. She even upgraded the room I booked, at no extra cost, just because better rooms were available that night! The house has a special charm: it is an old, well-preserved building with colorful, cheerful decor. The room we stayed in was the size of a small apartment, with a living room and a kitchen with all the usual appliances (microwave, toaster, coffee maker). We didn't stay inside for long enough to use any of these, but it could be a great option for families on longer trips. The breakfast included in the price of the stay was delicious, with several homemade items and fresh juice and coffee prepared on the spot. I hope to return to Alameda Guest House to spend more time. The location is equally incredible, close to the beach, and close to everything worth seeing in Espinho! If you go there, don't forget to enjoy Dona Fatima's hospitality!

We were the first ever to use this new room, and it was great. Nice bed, good place for our bikes. For a visit to Porto there is a convenient train service at 400 meters. And the host was very friendly. Super.

The property is amazing, so clean, so peaceful. The entire set-up is just perfect; the garden and pool, the living and dining room, everything is well thought of to ensure each guest will feel relax and zen. Even the sheets and especially the towels were very soft and smelled just like home. Finally the host greets you wither the warmest smile and ensures tou have all you need for and incredible stay!

Comfy beds, free private parking. The hostess is very kind. Completely renovated top floor of an active train station (you can barely hear it). A lot of effort has been put in the details in the room and kitchen etc. Even in the free included breakfast you can see she puts her effort into it. Every morning fresh fruits and great coffee. Got great restaurant recommendations for the 3 nights I stayed. Price-Quality ratio is unbeatable, 10/10 would recommend.

Botica’s location in Espinho is perfect: right on the city center, just a short walk from the train station, the beach and various restaurants. Our room was spacious, very well equipped and perfectly clean. Elizabeth is a great host: she is welcoming, joked around with our little son and even made it possible for us the check on really early (without any extra costs). We had a great time in Botica and would definitely come back if we returned to the area.

Extremely clean appartments - bed and towels smells very fresh, shining white bathroom - great shower, all works good, all around white - I didn’t saw any dust, all really looks like new. Appartments located deep between 2 building, and all what we heard there just songs of birds (and sometimes screams of fighting cats:) - so very quiet and calm around; also great location - tons of shops and restaurants around, and 5 minutes from ocean - amazing impressions
