This hotel is family run. The family made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was nicely set up and we were greeted each morning with smiles and friendly conversation. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. So happy we stayed at Casa da Torre.

Very nice place! A beautiful spacious and modern loft, very luminous and welcoming! It was perfectly situated, in the « Plaça Republica ». All the historic places where close by, and we easily found a place to park. One of the nicest place we had in Portugal. Since it was a last minute deal it was really affordable! I highly recommend it!

Caroliina, her husband and her mother Maria were perfect hosts and constantly went out of there way to help guests, with any heeds they had. The country house was wonderful, just a short walk into the town, but felt like you were in the heart of the country with the views from garden , watching the sun set down over the surrounding mountains. Food in the restaurant was excellent and all local produced was used.. would definitely return some day , just home after a wonderful 4 days there.

Excellent hotel that pleasantly surprised us at every turn! We stayed here and were absolutely delighted. The rooms are simply perfect - clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail: everything you need is provided - from a hair dryer and minibar to a complete first aid kit. The bathroom features quality cosmetics and all essential amenities, making the stay as comfortable as possible. The shared kitchen was a real discovery! It’s equipped with absolutely everything needed for cooking. You rarely find this in hotels, and it creates a special homely atmosphere. We even felt like staying longer and truly living in this cozy place. Really loved the private enclosed backyard - the perfect spot for evening relaxation in a peaceful setting. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The hotel is new, beautiful, and creates a sense of coziness from the very first moments. Definitely recommend for a comfortable stay!

The owner has been incredibly welcoming, and the room was very large and beautiful. The property also includes a highly rated typical restaurant downstairs. Top location just out of the historical city center of Viseu.

Clean, cozy and quiet room. Friendly staff. Very good price and very good sleep there. Also a pool, where we were with my child. Temperature was amazing! So cool and fresh inside even when hot otside, i did not use air conditioner. Can boil water in room
