This property really exceeded my expectations. Even though located in the heart of the Medina, the area was very calm and peaceful. The building and rooms are very tastefully decorated and the services were all very well-done. Breakfast was available even during Ramadan and the staff were very attentive. The hammam was clean, warm, and lovely and the attendants were extremely kind. You are within 3 minutes from the Zitouna mosque, most of the Souk, and the ministerial buildings. I slept very peacefully in the comfortable bed, there was coffee and snacks made available, and the bathroom is well equipped.

La Chambre Bleue is one of the best B&B I ever stayed at. It's so beautiful and tastefully decorated! The breakfast provided by the hosts is delicious and has great variety. It's in the heart of the Medina and within 2 minutes walk to restaurants and cafes. The room is very quiet at night. I have no complaints. I am recommending this to any friend who plans to visit Tunis!

Dar Kenza is an authentic tunisian style place where you can meet very friendly,polite and helpful owners. We really liked the home made breakfast ,especially the sweets. Dar Kenza is the perfect choice-value for money - for exploring the Tunis Medina and the city center. We are sorry that we did not have too much time to spend with the friendly owners. They are very nice people .

Nice location, there are a few small shops near the hostel selling water and sandwiches, wraps ect. The jam and cream cheese and halwa sandwich just down the street was amazing, as were some wraps from a nice lady, and oaja from a store with bowls out front. Fun place to stay and explore the Medina. 35 minute walk down through the Medina to Bab al Bahr and down the main ave to the bus and train terminal Tunis Bahria. 1 dinar for a train of bus to Sidi Bou Saed or La Marsa. Great way to spend the day. Nice staff here and very friendly. Breakfast is very nice, as is the roof patio. Just outside the Medina there there is a bit busier street with fast food restaurants open until later. Above the medina the Qasr al Baladia is a nice place to watch the sun go down

A good location for a relaxing stay in Tunis, Dar Zakia is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the inner courtyard.

The property is very close to the Medina and even during the night, it’s very safe to come back home. Moreover, the rooms are very big and the hosts do whatever is in their power to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They were always interested in how our stay was and provided as with water and coffee without asking. I rarely felt so welcomed to an accommodation before!

A truly wonderful hostess who made my last evening in Tunis absolutely perfect! 🥹 The room is very well equipped, featuring a large and extremely comfortable bed and there are two bathrooms available. Breakfast offered a generous selection of jams that paired perfectly with the bread and delicious cakes. From the terrace, there is a beautiful view of the city, making the stay even more enjoyable☺️
