This place is outstanding! Going for a family vacation? This is your place. Going for a honeymoon? This is your place. It's a small and personal hotel (I think 12 rooms) but it has everything you might need. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and clean and so was the bathroom which also had good water pressure in the shower. There is a very good restaurant onsite with mostly Italian food including pizza from a wood-fired oven. There is a small bar as well (not loud) and a stunning pool from which you can watch the ocean. The staff was amazing and attentive but never too much. The beach in front of the hotel is stunning and great for morning runs or day walks. We really had an amazing time.

As a guest at Shirley's we loved the great service and cleanliness of the rooms. The best thing is the close access to the beach and it's facilities. As a couple we share a birthday and we chose to celebrate it in zanzibar at Shirley's Residence. Shirley's made us a romantic set up by the beach and the chef prepared a delicious 4 course meal. The best part was the birthday cake which was enough to share with other guests...it was the best celebration ever. They really made us part of their family. We will forever be grateful. The management continues to work with us regarding everything we need from them, and in Zanzibar even when back home.

Tela is a great host and shows you the place, the beach and where to eat good food which isn't to expensive. It's my first time in Africa, and I feel home and safe here. The strong wind keeps the place fresh with good air from the ocean. I got a balcony, neighbours are chill and its easy to connect. I feel home. Hakuma Matata, thank you Tells for being a great host. Clean, big room with a big double bed. You can have rest easily. The pool was nice also. Nice design. We had daily nice breakfast included at their restaurant. The owners are nice, they can arrange nice trips and excursions. Definitely recommend, value for the money and felt like home.

Very helpful staff, they helped us with a taxi from the airport to the hotel, everyday brought tasty breakfast to the our terrace and cleaned our room every day! Also they made tasty pancakes and brought more fruits on the breakfast for my son. Big and clean swimming pool, very close to the beach (just 2 min walking), canopies above the beds and mosquito nets on the windows. Very nice and green territory. We were really enjoying that place!

The Villa is stylish and clean. There are two small pools on the territory which makes it perfect to cool downs when the tides in the ocean are high. The personal is very attentive and well trained. The food in the restraint is delicious!
