I loved the house and all the charming decor! Lillibet and Jordi were fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were amazing and completely filled us for our adventurous day ahead. Loved the homemade cookies in the upstairs TV room, too! The location was perfect and close to lots of main attractions in St. Louis. Would definitely go back again sometime.

A bold attempt at recreating ' Ye Olde England" with some fascinating furnishings and literary themed rooms. Without doubt the jewel is the snuggest, cosiest bar west of Cornwall, which is only missing Dick Turpin entering in a tricorn hat and demanding "your money or your life". Definitely worth a detour, whether staying at the hotel or not!

We found the primary attraction of this small guest house, the stylishly converted front half of a large garage, to be its location on an historic residential street quite close to the Central West End. The quiet area (with free street parking) is very convenient --even walking distance--to shops and restaurants and entertainment venues, as well as within easy driving range of Washington University. (It could be handy for parents visiting Wash U students or even prospective students themselves who'd prefer an affordable place with a kitchen to a hotel room). The bed was comfortable and, as noted, it was very quiet, so we really relaxed and slept well. Host Anthony (himself the architect of the guesthouse and the really striking contemporary house it sits behind) was available and readily responsive to a couple of requests we had.
