The guesthouse was very welcoming and immediately helped us bring our bags from the ferry. When we asked to change dates, they made it easy, and then when we wanted to change room it was also easy. The roof-top was a great asset with a clear view across the Nile full of faluccas and other boats. It was quiet and we slept well in excellent beds. the windows, and small balcony were great. The bathroom was adequate and clean. JJ helped us get an excellent driver, Mustapha, who spoke good english and was very attentive. Both JJ and his wife spoke good english. At first we were asking ourselves some questions about staying on an island which is still quite underdeveloped, but then we got to realize we were having an authentic experience of an African Nubian village and the village life all around. We loved the weaving shop and the spice shop near the ferryboat and made them our base. The ferryboat went every few minutes and cost almost nothing. We found good restaurants also, even one with beer and wine.

Also, that the pictures matched the reality Overall, this guest house exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and a serene atmosphere made my stay unforgettable. If you're planning a trip to the nubian village, this is the place to stay! I will definitely be returning on my next visit.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the possibility of having dinner at the property, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A special mention must go to Mahmoud, who was always there to assist us with anything we needed. What truly set him apart was that he wasn’t just a businessman—he was a local who genuinely loves his hometown, and that passion was reflected in every interaction. Unlike many others, he never tried to push excursions or sell us anything. Instead, he adapted to what we wanted, offering sincere recommendations and making sure we had the best possible experience. The place is amazing and clean, and the view is breathtaking. Mohammed and Mostafa are very kind, generous, and genuine people. They helped us with everything from Flueca rides, money exchange, and routes. This is from now on my goto for whenever i come to Aswan.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful, we were lucky to find this gem in the best Island. It was so peaceful and relaxing!

Staff was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. This was the cleanest accomodation that we have stayed in in Egypt. The breakfast was great, they have a terrace with views to the Nile and they use fruits and vegetables that are home grown. One of the days we had dinner as well, totally recommended, great portions and good quality. They helped us as well arranging the transfer to the airport, the captain of the ferry picked us up and the taxi driver was waiting right after the ferry.

We stayed at Nuba Heart as a family with two children and had an amazing experience. The accommodation was spacious and quiet, with two large bedrooms. It's ideally located—just a short walk from the ferry (only 10 EGP per person), and close to the train station and the local bazaar. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth. A taxi was waiting for us at the airport, and Thameer organized all our tours and even our transfer to our next accommodation in Luxor, all at very good prices. He was always available and ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed delicious breakfast and lovely rooftop dinners with a great view. The Nubian village around the guesthouse is full of charm and becomes very lively at night. The locals are warm and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommended, especially for families looking for an authentic experience and excellent hospitality. Our children loved it.

We stayed for one night at ABU Guest House, and I regret not having stayed there every night we were in Aswan. Mr. Abu was extremely welcoming, the rooms are super comfortable, well-decorated, and very, very clean. He even ofered us a bigger room for free. The dinner and breakfast prepared by Mr. Abu's wife were the most delicious we had in Egypt. He also took us on a boat ride around Elephantine Island, showing and explaining everything. At the end, he also offered us a massage session... very relaxing! In short, it was truly a pleasure to have stayed at ABU Guest House. If I could rate them more I would because they really deserve
