The location is excellent, close to the bus station. The staff are great, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very good. There lots of small extras like a hairdryer & kettle with tea and coffee in the room, which not all hostels have. Really excellent all round.

Very clean, great breakfast with omelets, fruits, breads, granola… and absolutely delicious cookies. Great location- close to action, but far enough for quiet. I was unsure of shared bathroom- but it worked really well. Highly recommend staying here. Rodrigo was helpful with information as well with any questions about area.

Scenic view of the bay, peaceful and quiet, and only 10 minutes drive into the town. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Susana is SO lovely and really cared for us during our stay — her advice on the local area is wonderful and so helpful. Wonderful stay!

Set in a privileged Patagonian location only 1 km from Fitz Roy Mountain’s access trail, Nothofagus has cosy rooms with wood furnishings in El Chalten. We had a great stay! Super flexible with extending our stay and very helpful with tips on hikes and where to eat. Especially Cecilia was super nice and helpful! We would love to come back again.

Located next to El Chalten’s trekking circuits and walking distance from the main road and the city centre, Hosteria El Puma offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Everything, friendly and professional staff, incredible spacious suites, super comfy beds, clean bathroom and a nice bathtub. Excellent high quality breakfast.

Situated in El Calafate and with Argentinean Lake reachable within 250 metres, Posada Karut Josh features a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. This was a lovely and cosy house that felt like a Bed and Breakfast. The host, Ian, and his wife were very kind and good conversationalists. The room was lovely and the front and back gardens were welcoming and in full bloom. The breakfast was very good and excellent value.
