The location is nicely quiet, yet still close to El Calafate (5-10min drive) with beautifull view on the lagoon Breakfast provided by Suzana was excelent. She was attentive and nice host.

Set in a privileged Patagonian location only 1 km from Fitz Roy Mountain’s access trail, Nothofagus has cosy rooms with wood furnishings in El Chalten. Everything here was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, scenic, perfect location, quiet, lovely staff.

Located next to El Chalten’s trekking circuits and walking distance from the main road and the city centre, Hosteria El Puma offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. I found all the staff to be very pleasant but especially the manageress. The breakfasts were healthy and quite extensive. The room had great character and was very quiet plus being in a great location - close to restaurants, cervecerias and the National Park walk entrances for Fitz Roy and Cerra Torre laguna. For suggestions re walking tracks, the staff provided wonderfully local additional knowledge. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed staying for 4 nights

Situated in El Calafate and with Argentinean Lake reachable within 250 metres, Posada Karut Josh features a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. This was a lovely and cosy house that felt like a Bed and Breakfast. The host, Ian, and his wife were very kind and good conversationalists. The room was lovely and the front and back gardens were welcoming and in full bloom. The breakfast was very good and excellent value.

Great family owned place, very clean and well managed. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. We've stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Perito Moreno / El Chalten and on a way back.
