Only 400 metres away from the centre of Kaprun, Pension Patricia was completely renovated in December 2016, offers free WiFi and free parking in a quiet location. It is only a 10-minute bus ride to the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and Zell am See ski areas. We were here for a short vacation. The place is run directly by the owner who is super nice and friendly. Always asks if we need something, always smiling, always super nice and positive. The pension has been renovated recently and is very nice and cosy. Breakfast was very good with delicious hot chocolate. The location of the pension is very quiet, yet close to the city center and ski lifts.

Staff was extremely friendly and prepared a celebration gift for us in a form of prosecco. Extremely nice gesture that was nicely appreciated. The hotel itself is cozy, only few floors with a decent amount of rooms. The breakfast is small but it is sufficient and included fresh herbal teas, jams and fresh honeycomb that you could just take and eat (Awesome). Hotel also has a wellness area with steam room, relaxation room, sauna and outdoor natural pool. It was exactly what you expect from the place after a whole day of hiking in the nearby mountains. What we loved the most is the spectacular view from the room, which overlooked the valley. That was something we have never seen before and we already visited a fair amount of 4-5 star hotels around Austria. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who is on a lookout for a cozy small hotel with friendly staff and wants to feel the calmness of the Alps.
