Villa Verde is located just 500 metres from Leopoldskron Castle and a 15-minute walk from Salzburg's Old Town. Free WiFi and free parking are available at this bed and breakfast. One word: Amazing! Alex makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive, apart from being super friendly =) The place is really nice, the rooms and facilities are great, breakfast has everything you think of and Alex makes the best eggs, whatever way you like them. The location is great also, away from the craziness of town, but easily reached by bus or a nice walk (or by bike if you wish). Nice little touchs everywhere, definitely one of the best B&B's I have stayed at.

The bed was comfortable and the balcony had a nice view of the mountains. During hot summer days, the air in the rooms is cooler, which is a relief after a full day of hiking and walking in the sun. The breakfast is always fresh, the host is very nice, kind, and helpful. We communicated in English, so the fact that I don't speak German was not a problem. For those who do not come by car, there's a bus station nearby. Waldhof is conveniently located about halfway between Salzburg and Fuschlsee, making it easy to visit the city one day and head in the opposite direction the next day, to bathe in one of the region's lakes or at least see their incredible blue water. (The app Sbg Verkehr is useful for checking bus schedules in real time or buying tickets.) Additionally, from Waldhof, it is easy to go into the forest, hike in the surrounding mountains and enjoy the view if you reach the Nockstein peak. Here, you don't feel like a client in a hotel, but rather like a guest in a home. A really nice experience.

The host was very nice and attentive, she made sure we had everything we needed. The location is also very good, at the edge of the city, but conveniently reachable by a direct bus.

Located in Salzburg, 2.6 km from Festival Hall Salzburg, Pension Ballwein features free WiFi access and free private parking. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Great rooms, very cozy and quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes from Salzburg center on the bus. It is very pleasant to live a bit off all the hustle to have a good relax but be close to everything needed. Good breakfast and very kind hosts to chat with. Will definitely get back.

Located in the outskirts of Salzburg, at the foot of the Gaisberg Mountain, Die Haslachmühle is a renovated mill dating back to 1688. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. Truly amazing guest house with an long history (former mill), unique in its kind. Very beautiful both outside and inside. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and most importantly, they are immaculately clean and fresh. Special thanks to the hostess Caroline for the warm welcome, help in all questions and, of course, for the delicious and varied breakfasts.

It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed home and rooms. She provides an incredibly generous breakfast and is helpful to make sure your time there is a relaxing. It's close to public bus and a few km from Salzburg. I would happily stay there again!
